From ITM

Take the Limousine Bus (OSAKA AIRPORT TRANSPORT) to Shin-Osaka or Kyoto and then change to JR Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen bound for Tokyo. And then choose the way from a) to d) for your convenience.
From Hikone station, there are two choices, taking the Direct bus or a taxi.

Limousine bus to Shin-Osaka

• Take JR Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen bound for Tokyo and get off at Maibara station. Change to JR Line to Hikone station. Take the Shiga University Direct Bus or a taxi to Hikone Campus of Shiga University.
• Take JR Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen bound for Tokyo and get off at Kyoto station. Change to JR Line bound for Maibara or Nagahama and get off at Hikone station. Take the Shiga University Direct Bus or a taxi to Hikone Campus of Shiga University.

Limousine bus to Kyoto

• Take JR Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen bound for Tokyo and get off at Maibara station. Change to JR Line bound for Ako or Himeji and then get off at Hikone station. Take the Shiga University Direct Bus or a taxi to Hikone Campus of Shiga University.
• Take JR line bound for Maibara or Nagahama and then get off at Hikone station.
  Take the Shiga University Direct Bus or a taxi to Hikone Campus of Shiga University.

From KIX

• Take the Limousine Bus (KANSAI AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION ENTERPRISE) to Kyoto. Change to JR Line bound for Maibara or Nagahama and get off at Hikone station. Take the Shiga University Direct Bus or a taxi to Hikone Campus of Shiga University.
• Take JR Kansai Airport Line to Kyoto. Change to JR Line bound for Maibara or Nagahama and get off at Hikone station. Take the Shiga University Direct Bus or a taxi to Hikone Campus of Shiga University.

From NRT

Take JR Narita Express or the Limousine Bus (Keisei Tokyo Shuttle) to Tokyo. Change to JR Tokaido Shinkansen and get off at Maibara station. Change to JR Line and get off at Hikone station. Take the Shiga University Direct Bus or a taxi to Hikone Campus of Shiga University.

From HND

• Take Keikyu Airport Line to Shinagawa. Change to JR Tokaido Shinkansen and get off at Maibara station. Change to JR Line and get off at Hikone. Take the Shiga University Direct Bus or a taxi to Hikone Campus of Shiga University.
• Take Keikyu Airport Line to Shinagawa station. Change to JR Yamanote Line or JR Keihin-Tohoku Line, and get off at Tokyo station. Change to JR Tokaido Shinkansen and get off at Maibara station. Change to JR Line and get off at Hikone station. Take the Shiga University Direct Bus or a taxi to Hikone Campus of Shiga University.
• Take Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsu-cho. Change to JR Keihin Tohoku Line and get off at Tokyo. Change to JR Tokaido Shinkansen and then get off at Maibara station. Change to JR Line and get off at Hikone station. Take the Shiga University Direct Bus or a taxi to Hikone Campus of Shiga University.

From NGO

• Take Meitestu Airport Line to Nagoya. Take JR Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen and get off at Maibara station. Change to JR Line. Get off at Hikone. Take the Shiga University Direct Bus or a taxi to Hikone Campus of Shiga University.
• Take Meitestu Airport Line to Nagoya. Change to JR Tokaido Shinkansen and get off at Kyoto station. Change to JR Line and then get off at Hikone station. Take the Shiga University Direct Bus or a taxi to Hikone Campus of Shiga University.
